Ismaily announced on Wednesday the departure of French manager Sebastien Desabre after accepting another job.
The Frenchman had informed Ismaily board of his wish to accept his first international job offer with the Uganda Cranes as he claims it would be a great move for his career.
According to a statement issued by the league leaders, they confirmed that the board tried everything to keep the manager at his current post, after the team has been enjoying a blistering start to the season, topping the league and witnessing much-missed stability over the past decade.
The board also reassured Ismaily fans of their will to secure the services of a new manager.
“The board assures our great fans that we are working on this situation and are in search to find an adequate manager to take over the team,” the statement read.
