Arua municipal council will soon receive the multibillion ultra-modern structure of the new taxi park. The construction which was launched in October last year has registered a tremendous progress in the last 7 months as the contractor strives to beat the deadline.
According to Bill Moryem, the clerk of works UB consulting Engineers, the remarkable progress has been due to the cooperation of the contractor and site workers
Despite some site challenges which slowed construction works, Sembatia Lawrence the measurement Engineer of CICO, the contractor says they are optimistic to complete the construction project within the set deadline.
Meanwhile Peter Dibele, Arua district RDC hailed CICO for the good work but called the Supervising Engineers to ensure quality control to avoid structural defects
The 9.3 Billion project funded by GOU under USMID is set for completion by the end of October this year. End
