The opposition FDC political party has finally pronounced her position on the party candidate for the upcoming bye election for Arua municipality parliamentary seat.

More than 6 candidates had expressed interest in the vacant seat on the FDC ticket including former Terego county MP Wadri Kasiano, Muzheid khemis and 4 others which the party declined.

The party decision was communicated to Arua district FDC EC chairman Hajji Akim Molli in a letter dated 03rd July 2018. The Forum for democratic change FDC party national executive committee has announced Bruce Musema as their flag bearer in the forthcoming Arua Municipality Member of Parliament by-election.

Mercy Ocotoko Monica, the FDC publicity secretary for Arua district says they will not contradict the party decision and appealed to the people of Arua municipality to rally behind Musema Bruce for a fair representation.

Despite the clarity of the party position, Muzheid khemis, ROD chairman who is also contesting says he will still run as a potential candidate because he has the support of the masses.
