Arua Market Women Honey Traders Association has eased work for some farmers in Terego County by handing them bicycles to coordinate bee keeping activities in the county.
There are six farmers benefiting from this transport means selected from different sub counties in Terego County to help in coordinating activities.
Alice Ozia, the Chairperson of this group says, these bicycles are given to the farmers following calls to address transport challenges that they face in meeting other farmers.
According to Escole Adrole, the Chairperson of Terego Bee Farmers Association, bee farming will be improved and he urge the farmers to take good care of the bicycles.
Some of the farmers who benefit from the project express that, this will make them improve on time management.
The project funded by Arua Market Women Honey Traders Association in partnership with Terego Bee Farmers Association is worth 1 million 9 hundred thousand shillings.
