In a bid to cope with the changing needs of customers, National social security fund NSSF has launched this year’s customer connect week to remind the customers for a better service.

NSSF has now opened their doors for voluntary contributions from the members of the public.

Andama Dailan Robert the NSSF branch manager Arua explains they welcome people who are interested to contribute though not working in institutions.

“Today, we launch the first ever Customer Connect Week, in which we dedicate an entire week to our members. Throughout our offices countrywide, our members and customers can expect great customer service,” he said.

In the past 24 months, NSSF has posted impressive performance across the board, according to the Fund’s audited accounts for the financial year 2011/2012 with the Fund  growing at  an average of UGX 50 billion per month from  Sh28 billion two years ago.

Currently, the Fund receives contributions in excess of Ugx. 50 billion per month, pays out more than Ugx. 12 billion in benefits to over 1000 beneficiaries in an average of 10 days.

This year`s customer connect week is conducted under the theme, “Evolving with the customers”.   End
