Teaching of Christian Religious Education declines in Ocodri Parish

The decline in teaching of Christian Religious Education in the schools of Ocodri Parish, has affected the moral and spiritual lives of children.
During the parish finance meeting, Farther Vincent Bekia appealed to catechists to monitor the teaching of CRE in schools.

Donassiano Aleku, the parish chairman said that, teaching and learning of Christian religious education in most Catholic founded schools in Aripea deanery is declining.

He attributes the decline to the negative attitudes of the qualified teachers, towards teaching the subject
