Road in Arua City to be Named Dranzoa in Remembrance of Late vice Chancellor Muni University.

Arua city council proposes to name the road from Arua Hill through Muni University to Ewuata after late Prof. Christine Dranzua in her remembrance. During the special council sitting to pay tribute to the fallen educationist on Monday 04th   July 2022, the City Council Speaker Yako Teddy Gloria proposed to name the road after Prof. Dranzua for her enormous support towards establishment of the University

The speaker says the road passing through Arua Central Forest Reserve via in front of Muni University be named after the Late Vice Chancellor. The councilors underscored late Prof. Dranzoa’s efforts in holistic human developmentSome say the late Prof. Dranzua exercised transparency when she managed to but the foundation of the University with only 13 billion shillings grant from the government which many Ugandans would fail to account for.
The area MP for Ayivu East Constituency Geoffrey Feta says Dranzua`s uniqueness was rooted in her Humility. “The late Prof. walked without showing herself off even when she was the first female prof. from the West Nile sub region. Said Hon Feta.

Wadri Kasiano former MP for the then Arua Municipality rallies the people of West Nile to emulate Dranzua`s path of promoting education.
Meanwhile, Arua City Mayor Wadri Sam Nyakua urges the current University administration to continue propagating Dranzua`s dream.
Wadri said “we know about the unhealthy competitions going on here in the University and we are coming here so better clean your selves of those unnecessary fights”. Muni University as well proposed to put up a portrait of the Professor at the University in honor of her achievements.
