Kamulara cultural group Moyo during the weekend did evaluate the 2024 with inter-family expedition to Mountain Otce.
The team took together their spouses and children as they toured the mountain areas while explaining the different features.
Viro Jurugo James the chairperson of the Cultural group said the tour was aimed at evaluating 2024.
“This expedition basically is to pave way for the evaluation of the year 2024 and then also be able to interact with our families which is a kind of interfamily expedition out of our usual gathering,” Jurugo disclosed.
He added that the expedition helped their children learn a lot and were able to view physical features that they had not seen yet had been learning at school.
Ayiasi Draga Robert the treasurer of the group said the tour was also meant to create friendship as the families of the cultural group.
“Am so happy because of this trip, as Kamulara family we used to know each other as friends but our children and wives do not know themselves,” Ayiasi
He added that, “The trip gave opportunity for our children to know each other very well and to interact among themselves just like we have been doing as their parents.”
Eriku Joana a resident Paecoa Logo said the tour to the sites creates friendship and generates revenue to the sub County.
“The gathering of this nature helps a lot where it creates friendship and generates revenue to both the sub county and the district which is of benefit to the entire country,” he pointed.
Aleru Godfrey the youth councillor for Otce sub County says such tours bring development to the sub county and the district.
