THREE PEOPLE REPORTEDLY DIE IN TWO ACCIDENTS IN OYAM WITHIN 2 DAYS

Road Accident has claimed the lives of three people in Oyam district within two days only.
One of the incidents occurred at Loro Town Council on Sundays where a Sino Truck Registration number UAS 761G lost control and knocked dead two mechanics who were repairing a Pickup truck registration number UAL 428L.
Job Mutegeki, the district Police commander of Oyam identified the deceased as Daniel Ojok and Obuku Samuel Oscar highlighting that their bodies were conveyed to Anyeke Health Centre IV mortuary as they await postmortem.
He also revealed that both vehicles are now parked at Loro Police Station for Motor Vehicles Inspection although the driver who allegedly knocked dead these people is still at large.
The second incident occurred on Monday January 20, 2025 at Kamdini town Council along Gulu Kampala highway when passengers surprisingly realized that one Musinguzi Fred, a resident of Kisanja cell, Kisimba Ward in Masindi District had mysteriously died in an Ipsum car registration number UAP 605s.
A passenger who preferred anonymity said they learnt about Musinguzi's death at around 10:00 am from Minakulu town council and reported the matter at Kamdini Police Station under SD REF 08/20/01/2025.
Mutegeki further confirmed the incident saying investigation into the death of Musinguzi is ongoing though the deceased's body is still being kept at Anyeke health centre four mortuary pending for postmortem.
