MOYO RESIDENTS RAISE HIGH EXPECTATIONS AS THE POLITICAL ATMOSPHERE GROWS TENSE

As the Political atmosphere in the country grows tense every second, Locals in Moyo now raise mixed reactions towards several candidates vying for the different positions.
On Saturday January 25, 2025 Patricia Francis Eiyo who has showed interest to aspire as woman Member of Parliament for Moyo showed up to public and was faced with these reactions.
Chandia Beatrice of Moyo Sub County said she believes with the coming of Eiyo the challenges facing women will be solved.
”My exaptation is, let her support women, lobby things for Moyo district and here we are having a lot of challenges as mothers, widows are suffering, orphans are suffering so she should support every corner,” she pointed.
Mazapkwe Scovia from Erepi Parish urged the aspirant to address the poor performance of leaners in the district.
“The performance of Moyo district is very poor, if she goes through for the sit of woman member parliament for Moyo, she should work on the big issue facing the district, poor performance” Mazapkwe said.
Mazapkwe continued to echo that, they want improvement in the performance of the leaners in Moyo district saying she is very disappointed of getting that the district only had 29 candidates who passed in first grade in the recently released PLE results.
The aspirant Patricia Francis Eiyo who has been a humanitarian worker says she believes in changing the lives of the rural community.
“Really what I want to do is to share the experience that I have gained over the years, if I could use this to support, help and raise my people, transform the life of my community” she stressed.
