Museveni Cautions Ugandan against laziness if poverty is to be eradicated. His Excellency President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni made the warning during his day one countryside tour on wealth creation initiative.
Addressing the best PDM beneficiaries in Akaidebe Cell, Eastern Ward at Kole Town Council in Kole District on Tuesday, Museveni said instead of working hard like selected PDM beneficiaries he has visited, most Ugandan have become spectators of this life changing program.
He encouraged the country men and women to embrace parish development model in a bid to eradicate house hold poverty and offered 15 million shillings.

Hon Denis Hamson Obua, the government Chief Whip said Museveni's arrival in Lango should now clear all doubt on this program adding that if poverty is to be kicked out of the country people must embrace all the six wealth creation initiatives that includes Operation wealth creation, UWEP, Youth Livelihood program , Emyooga and PDM among others.
The Right Rev Bishop Alfred Olwa, one of the farmers practicing four acre model said parish development model is a great initiative that will kick out poverty from Uganda however he calls on government to emphasize on mindset change of the citizens.
Rose Akoi, one of the best PDM beneficiaries from Canopwonya group excitedly praised Museveni and his government for introducing parish development model program that has greatly improved her household income.
She explained that her she invested her one million PDM fund pledging full support to Museveni and NRM party in the forthcoming elections.
Currently government has injected over 2.4 trillion shillings on Parish Development model.
