“The motorcycle which was assigned to the assistant RDC must be returned to the district and must go to Omugo Sub County, those who are holding those gov’t motorcycles must bring them to Leju, and we have a lot of need for motorcycles.”
Whereas Moses Echat the Terego district Chief Administrative officer says records from the inventory department of the district show that assets of the district that were allocated to the staff for work are nowhere to be seen and have remained unaccounted for.
“The DPC has been in an operation to secure these assets however it is also unfortunate that these assets have not been kept in gazzetted places as is required by law, this is not correct in law. There’re very many assets which have not been accounted for.”
