SENIOR ONE STUDENTS TURN UP IN GOOD NUMBERS IN MOYO DISTRICT

As the academic door for the senior one class in the entire country for the 2025 opened on Monday February 17, 2025, majority of the schools in Moyo district registered fair turn up of the leaners.
Ijotre Abubasa Alule says they registered 102 out of which at least 65 managed to turn up on the first day as they are still expecting an increase.
“Their enrollment has increased and am yet to get todays enrollment from the class teacher which I believe shows that the number has increased and learning is going on, we are not going to waste time” Alule started.
Bishop Asili secondary school registered a total of 47 senior one students and 32 managed to turn up right from the first day as explained by Enuru Silver the head teacher of the school.
‘‘Currently the turn up of the senior one leaners is greatly improving and learning is going on” Sliver noted.
He further urged those parents who have not sent their children to school to immediately act for the future of their children.
But at Hawa secondary, students have been in school for a week now with fair turn up of the leaners as lesions had started a week ago for the senior one class. Ambu the head teacher of the school revealed that they started fully from last week with the senior ones.
“We are one week and some two days down the road, we had registered 152, as of today there are 112 leaners in the class” the head teacher noted
Some of the senior one students from the various schools that radio Pacis visited said they are happy with the new environment as they have started learning.
