The Deputy Inspector General of Government Anne Twinomugisha Muhairwe has directed the Chief Administrative Office for Maracha district to interdict six staff over allegations of abuse of office and causing financial loss to the government. The officials are Stephen Candia, the Chief Finance Officer, Paul Abriribale, the Internal Auditor, Timothy Ezati, the acting district engineer, Flavia Osoa, District Education Officer, William Oneti, the senior Assistant Engineer and Robert Ezati, the senior Assistant Engineer.

In a letter dated 7^th of September, Twinomugisha noted that the officials are being investigated by the Inspectorate of Government, Statehouse Anti-Corruption Unit, and Police Criminal Investigations department over abuse of office and causing financial loss of One point nine billion Shillings that was meant for the construction of Kololo Public Seed Secondary school in Tara sub-county.
