54 Primary schools in Moyo district have officially kicked off with the pre-primary leaving examinations with no challenges registered on the first day.

Pre –PLE exams are a set of standard examination papers for candidates to try them before UNEB primary leaving examinations.
 
Mr. Lowirigo James Hudson the Chairperson District Academic Panel reveals that a total of 1,864 candidates in the district are sitting for the pre-PLE examinations that started on Friday September 27, 2024   with briefing of the candidates.

‘‘The candidates have started their pre-PLE today with mathematic and 54 schools are sitting the papers, but at the moment we have not received any challenges and the intention of giving the pre-PLE is to prepare learners for the PLE which is due for November,’’ he was quoted saying .

Ms. Oaikane Gladys the head Teacher Kolokolo Primary school who was contacted by radio pacis newsrooms on Monday morning explains that the examinations were progressing on well with all the leaners present.

‘‘The exams started well, the learners are waiting to enter for the second paper. There are no challenges especially at our station the learners are all presents, she remarked ’’

Mr. Akuku Robert the Head Teacher Fr. Bilbao Memorial Primary school enlightens that the Pre-PLE exams are very significant as it prepare the leaners for their final examinations.

‘‘ Today Monday 30/09/2024 is the second day of the pre-ple which started with briefing last Friday, so as per the school the learners are all present and they are fully prepared and already for the first paper ,pre-ple is the first PLE which paves way for them as  it prepares them for the real PLE,’’ he pointed 

According to UNEB, the Primary Leaving Examinations will take place from Monday November 4^th 2024 to Thursday November 7^th 2024.
