Resident District Commissioners (RDCs) in west Nile region have received training in best management skills, code of conduct in public service, monitoring and evaluation, and NRM ideologies. The training gave the RDCS a better understanding on how to effectively  implement service delivery.

While addressing the RDCS and their deputies during an engagement meeting, state minister for Kampala Joseph Kabuye maintained that RDCS are required to exercise integrity and team work at all times. He condemned the recently interdicted deputy RCCS of Arua for character assassinating the image of the president saying that they went overboard.

The permanent secretary in the office of the president Haji Yunus Kakande remarked that RDCS should work in one accord to strengthen unity and cooperation at all levels of leadership. He asked leaders to refrain from acts of confrontations and cases of insubordinations

Pakwach RDC Paul Eseru said that the training will go a long way in enhancing his skills in monitoring of government programs. He expressed a lot of hope in scaling down the now Popular PDM Programs.
Festus Ayikobua, the RDC of Maracha said that RDCS need to work in unity in order to realize tangible benefits in their respective districts, he added that this could propel social economic transformation if embraced positively.
