The Mp of Aringa North Constituency, Godfrey Onzima has responded to his rating by parliament for the one year. Hon. Onzima of Aringa North, Jessica Ababiku, the woman mp of Adjumani and Mario Kania, the Mp of Terego East were rated among the best MPs from West Nile Sub region in terms of their contribution in plenary.
Hon. Onzima, attributes his performance to being able to have knowledge of the subject matter for discussion in the flow of parliament and understanding the rules of procedure. He says it’s paramount for members of parliament also to understand the budget line. 

Hon. Onzima said that within the one year in parliament, he has been able to lobby for the people of Aringa North projects inline line Government priority which were successful. “As a member of parliament, you can easily succeed in lobbying if you lobby in line with government agenda. This is why I was able to succeed in lobbying for extension of power to parts of my constituency”.  Hon. Onzima also says he succeeded in lobbying for a bridge on River Kochi to connect Yumbe to South Sudan.

In the One year of the 11^th Legislature, parliament rated west Nile MPs; Hon. Mario Kania, 55, Hon. Jessica Ababiku, 40 while Hon. Onzima Godfrey, 37 for their contribution in plenary.
