The local organizing committee seeks for 923-million shillings to finance activities towards beatification of Ambrosoli in November.
The committee plans to realize this fund within 3-months period as planned event is slated for 20th November, 2022.

The chairperson of finance committee Rev. Fr. David Okello Opiro reveals to the central organizing committee a lot is still needed to make the event colorful. According to Fr. Opiro, so far the committee has realized 2-bulls in kind from undisclosed individuals. The archdiocese has open ban account at centenary Bank, MTN-mobile money number and Marchant code to raise the funds. The Vicar general of Gulu archdiocese Monsignor Mathew Odong who is heading whole preparation says pilgrims to grace the occasion are expected to come from all the neighboring countries like Kenya, South Sudan, Tanzania, Democratic Republic of Congo also other countries like Italy, Venerable Doctor Ambrosoli home country.  

The archbishop of Gulu John Baptist calls on anybody to support this noble cause. The fund shall be used for catechesis, feeding, construction of the venue in Kalongo, purchase of liturgical items and maintenance of 337-kms roads among others.
