West Nile province striker Abang Cromwell Rwothmio has returned to vipers training after failing to secure a move before the January transfer deadline. The venoms rejected loan bids from fellow Uganda premier league sides, Arua hill, Gaddafi, URA and Onduparaka for the reason that, the president and the club view him as a key player in the project at St Mary’s stadium.

The poacher who has for the last two months been on personal training back home in Pakwach officially started training yesterday with gym work. Under the new gaffer Alex Isabirye, the former URA forward will battle to fend off competition from Ibrahim Orit, Martin Kizza, Yunus Sentamu, Abubakar Lawal, and Ivory Coast striker Israel Desire Tety.

Rwothmio in the half season of the Uganda premier league only scored one goal for the venoms in 14 games.
