20 YEARS OF DR. LIL VIRUS MUSIC

Entertainment through various platforms such as sports, music, comedy and shows, among others, plays a vital role in society. It brings people together, builds strong social connections and creates happy and connected communities.
It also strengthens social bonds, boosts the local economy, improves mental health, preserves culture, creates jobs and encourages youth development.
Just over the weekend, Hundreds of people across the Madi Sub-region came together to show their love for music and sports, as they celebrated Dr. Lil Virus, popularly known as the Madi Dictionary, whose real name is Mundrugo Savior, as he marked 20 years in the music industry.
Alumai Dominic, one of the music fans, says music educates and informs people, which is why he loves Lilli Virus’s music. “Music really educates people. That’s why we love his music,” Dominic stated.
Moro Peace, another music and sports fan, says he supports Virus because of his humble and caring nature and his love for everyone. “Virus is a very humble and caring man. He loves everyone,” Moro said.
King Oyo describes Virus as a humble person and a role model. “He is one of the best artists who grew up and came into the music industry. He is a big motivator and has inspired a lot of young talents,” he pointed out.
Kellan Ratia, an artist known by her stage name Skillah Music, says she admires Lil Virus because of his positive lifestyle. “The Virus I know is someone who loves everyone. He likes supporting new talents and everyone,” she noted.
However, Dr. Lil Virus says his biggest achievement is the love he receives from his fans, as he also shared some of his achievements in the music industry. “Through music, I have tried to work with my colleagues, and most of them can now stand on their own,” Virus said.
He added that he used to face challenges in school, particularly with tuition fees, but the little income he earned from music helped him a lot.
Entertainment is essential because it reduces stress, supports mental wellbeing and brings people together through shared experiences.
