The works at the site of the pharmaceutical ware house for Arua diocese being constructed in Ediofe, is on positive progress five months after the commencement.
The 3.5 billion warehouse project whose site was handed over to China Huang Pai machinery on 11th January 2024 is an eight months project running until August 2024.
Herman Rubangakene, the site manager for the proposed pharmaceutical warehouse in an interview with Radio Pacis says that, they are working hard towards beating the project deadline. “The wall fence is almost done, currently standing at about 80 percent. In-here we have a restaurant, we have offices and we also have generator shelter. It’s only the restaurant and generator house which are pending, but the excavations have been done. We believe within next week or the week after that, we shall be done with the block works. We are planning to roof all at once which might take us about 3 to 4 weeks,” he said.
This project is funded through a soft loan from Missio Invest, a New York based Organization that supports poor churches and will be let out to Joint medical stores for the next 15 years following a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the diocese.
