Stakeholders in Arua City have called for collective action and advocacy efforts aimed at promoting the rights, well-being, and empowerment of women, addressing gender inequality, and ensuring equal opportunities for all the women in the city.

"It's everybody's responsibility to see that they act, they provide all the efforts within their docket and see that they achieve gender equality by engaging women and girls, boys and men to participate at different platforms that women and girls have got greater efforts," said Christine.
Whereas Judith Bako, the assistant Resident City Commissioner of Arua Central noted that, the women in the city play crucial roles in corroborating that, there is Peace.
"The women who have just marched here have committed themselves to work with the office of the president in ensuring that, there's Peace in Arua City. I therefore ask you to continue to advocate for the promotion of these women," noted Bako.
Equally, the chairperson of women council Arua City Hon Andiandu Mary states that, "When we talk about accelerating gender equality, you can see where women are going. At my age actually I should be sitting down, but I am still very active thus our theme for today is very good for us".
