Those sworn in were; Rev. Fr. John Baptist Aligi ( Chairperson), Eng. George Okite Okeng, Hon Conny Atoo Ogwang, Opio Ronaldo, Patrick Okello Auma , Geoffrey Oryem and board other members.

She added that their appointments were a divine call to serve while observing transparency and accountability.
"As long as the technical teams are not transparent to the board trust me they will have challenges, so the head teacher should cooperate with the board members and Board members should also be contented with their allowances." said Magistrate Namwanje.
Sam Otoo, the outgoing chairperson Board of governors in his message highlighted that outbreak of Covid 19 and conflict over ownership of foundation body were among the major challenges that greatly affected their work.
"In 2019 our work was cut short by Covid 19 when it ended in 2022 the issue of foundation body was yet another big challenge in this particular school, am praying to you not to repeat the past mistakes, the incoming chairperson Board am glad you are a priest please! Requested to pray for the school" Sam Otoo urges.
Rev. Fr. John Baptist Aligi, the newly appointed chairperson Board of governors of Acaba Technical School who is also the chaplain of Aber Hospital welcomed the new members of the Board by reminding them that they are appointed for service not benefiting from school.
“We call for service not for benefits, if we think of benefits then we shall lose the trend so let it be a true sacrifice," Fr. John Baptist Aligi urged.
Rev Fr Moses Pascal Omara, Parish Priest of Anyeke Catholic Parish who represented Lira Diocese Education Commissioner said this school has been operational without a functional board of governors for the last five years because of conflict over foundation body.

Celestino Akar, the Principal of Acaba Technical School excitedly welcomed these new Board members pledging to exercise transparency and accountability.
"Today I have welcomed the new Board all heartedly because it is full of knowledgeable individuals so if we work together Acaba will development," Akar assured.
