CSR: LOCAL FOOTBALL CLUB CLEANS UP GULU MAIN MARKET

Football players of legendary brothers` football club as part of their corporate social responsibility have cleaned up Gulu main market in Laroo-Pece division, Gulu city.
The chairperson of Legendary Brothers` Football club, Bryan Acire Aduga said that they decided to clean Gulu main market as a way of creating a strong bond between the players and the members of the public by using football a tool for fostering peaceful coexistence.
“we are doing this in order to create positive impact in the community and also have a strong bond between the players and members of the public, that`s the main reason for this doing charitable work today at Gulu main market,” he noted.
Reagan Ocaya, the security secretary of Legendary Brothers Football club appealed to all the youth in Northen and Uganda at large to at least try and belong to a group or an association because through groups or associations they can have access to so many services.
“My fellow youth, please try to be in a group or an association, through this you can tap a number of opportunities that will help you to address some of your needs,” he remarked.

The Legendary brothers’ football club is composed of young persons of the age of 33 years and below having distinguished professional backgrounds.
Their main aim is to foster healthy lifestyles through football.
Auma Vicentina, one of the market vendors at Gulu main market applauded the youth for choosing Gulu main market as one of the places to clean.
“I`m really very excited by what they have done at our market, I urge all the youth within Gulu city and outside Gulu to also do the same, the way their brothers did for us here at Gulu main market today,” she echoed.
This is now the second-time football players in Gulu city cleaned Gulu main market, on June 29, 2024, Manchester united supporters under their umbrella Manchester united supporters club of Gulu went and also cleaned Gulu main market as part of their charity when launching their group.
