MOYO NRM CADRES EMPHASIZE PEACE AS NRM MARKED 39 YEARS IN POWER

Moyo district on January 26, 2025 joined the rest of the country to celebrate the 39th National Resistance Movement/Army (NRM/A) liberation day.
During the celebration, the leaders in the district commended the ruling government for bringing and maintaining peace in the country.
The celebration in moyo district took place at Celecelea stadium in Moyo town council.
Hon. Asusi JB Sam moyo district NRM party chairperson cited peace as their paramount achievement.
“Peace, security stability and democracy as the most outstanding achievement of NRM. The factors of peace and stability have made it possible for the government and her cadres to focus on development agenda.” Hon. Asusi JB mentioned.
Chandia Benedette Kodili an aspiring candidate for woman MP Moyo district rallied people to continue embracing the stable peace and security.
“For the people who were there by then, they really saw blood shade, they saw the pain of living in exile. I don’t want to live in exile ever in my life. For that reason I’m grateful to the government and I request and pray to people, please let’s secure the peace because as we secure the peace, we shall get all the other things we are working for.” Chandia said.
“The fact that we are a border district, bordering south Sudan where the stability and peace is very fragile but all of us can confirm that over years we have continue to be largely a peaceful district. Peace and stability is the fundamental foundation on which all other developments are anchored.” Hon. Anyama added.
The 39th liberation day was celebrated under theme, “39 YEARS OF NRM/A: SALUTATIONS TO THOSE WHO RE-SANCTIFIED OUR HOMELAND”
Mr. Julian Sekamwa, the deputy RDC who was the guest of honor asked people to utilize the reliable peace for development.
“As we live in this achievements of this government from peace and security through to health to build infrastructure, education many more. We have gone very many miles ahead however we need to still move forward.” Mr. Julian said.%20with%20area%20MP%20Tom%20Aza%20inspecting%20the%20parade..jpg)

The NRM/A took to the bush to fight for the liberation of the country and took over power in 1986.
