The voter’s registrar verification process in Moyo just like elsewhere in  the country which started on 25/04/25 set to end on 15/05/25 has registered challenges in different polling stations resulting from low voter turn up and poor mobilization of the communities.

Anyama Patrick a display officer Kerelu crescent monument commonly known as mama Moyo polling station expressed disappointments over poor turn-up of voters.

“Generally the turn-up has been low like you find in a day only one or two people turn-up surely today since morning no one appeared even yesterday the same thing when I tried talking to the lc1 of the area he replied to me that he was not aware of this exercise taking place in the area and this has made work difficult for me sitting for the whole day in one place,” Anyama said.

Whereas Icheta Julius the display officer Adua mango shade polling station said that there was success in the start but two days down, the turn up greatly dropped.

“Our activity of display at first started fairly well with 20 people who came out to check their names but two days down no one turned -up but I request the people to come and verifying their names and locations earlier the better,” Icheta revealed.

Meanwhile Adraako Kevin echoed that the poor mobilization of the community led to the low turn-up in the area.

“In this area it was not announced to the people in the village that we are carrying this activity although few are coming but they don’t know what is happening on ground,” Adraako explained.

However Chandia Rose Jade vice lc 1 chairperson Maduga village laments on the inconveniences and appealed to everyone to vote responsibly.

“The photos that came which the presiding officer checked, I only found old photos new ones are missing and even some of our members I realized they are allocated to other areas so I request lets come and check our names so that you are brought to your right place,” Rose cried out.
