POLICE IN MOYO INVESTIGATES MYSTERIOUS DEATH OF 36 YEAR OLD MAN

The territorial police of Moyo central police station is investigating a cases of sudden death of a male adult aged 36 years identified as Nicholas Oggo a Madi by tribe, resident of Edua village Celeacela parish Moyo town council Moyo district that occurred on the April 22, 2025 at night.
Confirming the incident to Radio Pacis newsroom, SP Dragudu Ignatius the police spokesperson for North West Nile region said the dead body was recovered in his house in the evening by his son a student of Moyo star high school after coming back from school, as investigation into his death continue, the body was taken to Moyo hospital for postmortem.
“The police deployed a team of homicide detectives headed by acting CID officer, the body was taken to Moyo general hospital for postmortem to establish the root cause of the death of the man,” SP Dragudu revealed.
Dragudu further appealed to the community to always report such cases to the local council structures and police and always check their neighbors.
“We normally tell people what we call neighborhood watch which is very important, you need to watch your neighbor and ascertain what is happening at your neighborhood” he noted.
Dragudu added that should a neighbor fail to come out from his room, always report to the relevant authorities.
