RCC ORDERS ARREST OF CORRUPT PDM BOARD MEMBERS IN ARUA CITY

Salim Kumakech the Resident City Commissioner of Arua has ordered investigations and arrest of the board members of Kenya Ward Parish Development Modal who were involved in the irregularities and corruption scandals happening in Kenya Ward PMD Program.
 
He revealed this during the Kenya Ward Parish Development Modal (PDM) Annual General Meeting. 
 
The RCC pledged to address all the PDM irregularities happening in Kenya Ward and other parts of the City.
 
“Trust in us and give us some opportunity to correct the mistakes we have been registering and I have given instructions to officer in charge police post to take actions against this, I will be in touch with him concerning investigations, processing of file, arrest and prosecution because we shall be using both approach to change the corrupt leadership and take legal actions against the perpetrators.”
 
Emily Lekuru the secretary of Kebir united group appreciates the intervention of the resident city commissioner in cleaning up the parish development mess in Kenya Ward.
 
“We shall have new leadership because the old leadership have not been doing the right thing, I am just happy and excited because we are going to have new PDM Board Leadership in Kenya Ward. In my group no one has so far got money because people are picked from Jiako, Ombaci and Ociba to receive money on our behalf, I want government to get this and address the issue for us”
 
Gaddafi Noah the chairman of green land group in Ozua Cell in Kenya Ward doubts the auditing report and says that getting rid of the old board members will help to address the mess of PDM in Kenya Ward.
 
“For the past three weeks, annual general meeting has been called and it has failed
On two occasions, I am so happy it has taken place but I am not happy with the auditor’s findings and report because the auditing report is not clear. This upcoming election of the new board members I am sure it will reduce this vast gap and will make Kenya Ward great once again”
 
Kenya Ward Parish Development Modal (PDM) board members have been accused of several cases ranging from corruption, favoritism, giving money to ghost beneficiaries and others issues.
