Arua School of Comprehensive Nursing and Midwifery has undergone change of leadership as the principal of the school Abio Aniceta hands over office to the acting Principal Dranimva Nickson the former deputy principal after retiring at the age of 60 years.

While handing over tools of office, the outgone principal Abiyo Aniceta appealed to the governing council to cooperate with her predecessor.

The incoming acting principal Dranimva Nickson says he is positive about taking over the leadership role with assurance of support and cooperation from various stakeholders.

The chairman of the school governing council Associate Professor Simon Anguma Katrini says the handover is a ceremonial occasion.

Meanwhile, Patrick Sempala a commissioner from ministry of health charges the incoming acting principal to stand firm amidst challenges.

The institution has a total of 772 students with only 5 teachers on government payroll. End
