The actions of residents in West Division Koboko Municipality who move for night Discos in the Neighboring Democratic Republic of Congo have been mapped by the Security agencies of Koboko District.

The District Police Commander of Koboko Assistant Superintendent of Police Samuel Abwang presented the matter before the District Corona Virus Taskforce.

He told the members that, there is an immediate need to end the practice given the fact that it is so risky especially at a time when Community infections are on the increase.

Koboko District COVID 19 Taskforce Chairperson RDC Captain Yahaya Kakooza has called on the individuals involved in this risky venture to either stop it or be ready to suffer the consequences since the team of the Joint Security have already mapped them using their intelligence network.

The District Health Educator of Koboko Deodone Idringi has decried the laxity by some defiant members of the local population to follow the SOPs saying, time might come when it might be late to regret their actions.

Koboko District Members of the Corona Taskforce are currently struggling to save the lives of around 32 positive Cases admitted at Koboko General Hospital. End
