Addressing the party executives during the launch of membership registration in West Nile on Wednesday in Arua city, Siranda revealed that, this is a strategy a peaceful transition of government. “Uganda is at a time that needs the Democratic Party more, this country can never settle until the party that prepared the independence of Uganda takes charge of this government.
In Africa you can never come from the outside and you take you can manage this country, DP under Norbert Mao has decided to be a mopper, Uganda needs the process we are going through,” SG Siranda said. Meanwhile the Democratic Party spokesperson for Northern Uganda Fadhil Lemeriga denounced the criticism against the party by some members of the public. “There must be an understanding between a corporation and a merger, what we have had with NRM is a cooperation but not a merger that why we are preparing here to go and face NRM in the general election, we must not be understood. It is wrong to assume that we are in things only during NRM,” Lemeriga denounced.
