The governor of central Equatorial state in the Republic of South Sudan has appealed to the people of Kajo Keji County to focus and work for peace for the refugees in the settlements to return to their homes.

Emmanuel Adil Wani the governor of central state of South Sudan made this appeal during the enthronement of the fourth diocesan bishop of Kajo keji province of the Episcopal church of South Sudan, the Rt. Rev Lule James Kenyi.

Speaking to the congregation that gathered at Emmanuel Cathedral Kajo Keji that brings South Sudanese from the Ugandan settlements including those in the country and the people of Moyo district, Governor Adil said they are working hard to see that all the refugees return back to their country as they are working hard to carryout disarmament in the cattle camps. “In the coming week we shall send enough force of army, they are not your cattle’s but they are going to disarm harmed cattle keepers” Adil revealed.

The Governor further added that he is passing this so that the cattle keepers are disarmed because they want everyone to stay without guns. Governor Adil urged the people of Kajo Keji to return and clean their plots since there is a sign of peace in the country. “You people of Kajo Keji since you have already known there is peace, am urging you to return home so that you come and clear our plots.”

Meanwhile Dr. Paul Yugusuk the Archbishop of South Sudan central Equatorial province appealed to the refugees who attended the occasion to reach back to the different camps and collect their properties back to South Sudan since there is great sign of peace following the national independence in Kajo Keji and the big enthronement of the bishop that has gone so peaceful.

However Rt Rev. Father Dr. Lule James Kenyi the enthroned bishop of Kajo Keji Diocese revealed peace and reconciliation as his target. “Our first priority from now is to strengthen peace and reconciliation. During the time of Late bishop, he had a lot on the issues of peace and reconciliation as we are sitting now today, the late bishop did a great work of returning the people of Kajo Keji back home”. Dr. Lule disclosed.
