In a bid to achieve their quest for a municipality, Anaka town council councilors have approved a new revenue source that seeks to increase revenue collection.

However, Shiela Adyero who operates a depot for beverage in the town council fears that it will lead to high tax burden on the traders, asking the town council authorities to consider tax holidays and exemptions during times of uncertainties in business.
