The people of West Nile have been called upon to embrace blood donation in order to save the lives of those who need blood in the health facilities.
Robert David Ndeluzi, who spoke for Red Cross and blood bank in West Nile region made this appeal at the blood donation exercise organized at Makerere university business school, Arua campus on Thursday 9th of March 2023. “The demand for blood is so high in the health facilities and yet, very few people are able to donate, “Ndeluzi said

Billy Draleku, one of the  students who donated blood at the school encourage the  public to look at blood donation as a priority, as it does a lot in saving lives, “There is no factory for manufacturing blood, so there is need for the members of the community to donate blood in order to save lives, “said Draleku.
Similarly, Viola Hope Rizuyo, called upon members of the public to sacrifice with love, to save others through blood donation.

Blood donation helps a lot in saving lives of expectant mothers during labor, accident victims, anemic children, and any other sick person that lacks blood.
