Arua Muslim Supreme Council has come out openly to condemn all forms of Acts of Homosexuality Groups Commonly Known as LGBTQ community.
According to Annie E Casey Foundation Blog, LGBTQ stands for Les­bian, Gay, Bisex­u­al, Trans­gen­der, Queer, where the term QUEER is an adjec­tive used by par­tic­u­lar­ly younger peo­ple, whose sex­u­al ori­en­ta­tion is not exclu­sive­ly het­ero­sex­u­al.
A recent letter dated 21^st February 2023 was addressed to all the District Khadis of the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council, imploring them to join a peaceful Demonstration to protest against homosexuality practices in Uganda which was scheduled for Friday 24^th February 2023 between 10:00AM to 12:00PM, in partnership with the Police and compounding it with teachings against Homosexual Practices in schools and Mosques during Friday Prayers with Placards but this was postponed to Friday 3^rd March 2023.
 
Mara Muhammad, the Secretary for Women and Children of Arua Muslim Supreme Council urged parents to do background checks on the schools they take Children to. She says the Homosexuality practices in Uganda are going to destroy our children’s future. “May be they’re doing so because of the Family Planning which they have tried in vain but we want our children to not only to learn but also produce”. Mara added.
Ibrahim Shaban Candia, the Imam Muni University implored parents to diligently inculcate faith in Children to avoid being lured into Homosexual acts using money. “If we allow these Homosexuals to Continue, we are going to extinct our Generation and we shall not reproduce!” Candia lamented. 
Hadad Salim, the Legal Advisor to Arua Muslim Supreme Council urged Government to put stringent measures against Homosexuals and expedite the passing of Anti Homosexuality Bill. He said that Zeno Philosophers including Thomas Aquinas taught their followers the law of Nature which; he urged the Muslim faithful to follow. “A man must marry a woman is a law which emanates from God and you are not a believer if you hold a contrary View.” he said.
Apart from carrying out a peaceful Demonstration in Arua City, the District Khadi Arua Muslim Supreme Council, Hajj Abujafar Shaban Karala said if they find and proof beyond reasonable doubts that one of the Muslims in Arua is Practicing Homosexuality, they will hand Him over to Police. “We shall call him, read to him Verses in Quran against Homosexuality, Educate Him about the Dangers and Rewards of being a Homosexual and we shall then shame Him here in the Mosque before surrendering him to Police.”  He warned.  

The main objectives of the 2009 Anti-homosexuality Bill seeks to provide for marriage Contracts in Uganda to be confined to only between a man and a woman, penalize all forms of Homosexual Behavior as they constitute a threat to traditional Family. The bill also prohibits ratifications of any international treaties, conventions, protocols agreements and declarations which are contrary to the provisions of the act including licensing of organizations which promote Homosexuality. 
One of the provisions of the anti-homosexuality bill states that upon conviction, a person committing an offence of Homosexuality is liable for Life Imprisonment.
