OYAM NORTH MP DONATES 300 BROILERS TO REFORMED GANGS

the Oyam North Member of Parliament Dr. Eunice Apio Otuki the recently launched an empowerment project targeting vulnerable youths, women, elders and servants of God in all denomination across the constituency.
Part of the beneficiaries are the Kampala boys, an association of the reformed gangs found at Oyam town Council. They came together to improve their livelihoods through participating in various economic activities.
In an event held at Teduka cell at Oyam town council on Wednesday September 18, 2024, Dr Apio offered 300 broilers to Kampala boys.
Hon Dr. Eunice Apio Otuku, through her political representative Harriet Among Odongo who is also the female Lc3 councilor for western ward central said this donation is not political because Dr. Apio aims at eradicating poverty among youths and other categories of people
Tonny Olang Igubo Inyamo a suppliers of the chickens encouraged these beneficiaries not to fear poultry business because this is a good start of development.
Olang further, challenged these youths to feed their broilers at the appropriate time so that they can capitalize out of them.
Moses Uhuru and Isaac Ojok, member of Kampala boys who spoke on behalf of their colleagues excitedly appreciated this development pledging to put these chickens into good use in order to meet their primary goal.
They further rallied other politicians to copy the same example from Dr. Apio so that voters can as well benefits from their votes.
