The members of the public are called to inform the office of the human resource of their district local governments on the pensioners who are sickly, and cant make it to the verification centers,as the exercise conducted by the auditor general to verify all Pensioners and Estate Administrators as part of the Special Pension Audit continues nation wide.
Diana Ayikoru, the communications officer for Arua district made this appeal while talking to the media in her office, “This exercise begun on July 8, it will be ending on the 20 of this month,if you have a sick person who really cant come, find a way of informing the human resourse of your district local government, then they inform the office, the office takes the information to go and verify those people,” Diana said.
The exercise that started on Monday realized some stability as it progresses in Arua.
Adriko Y Keneddy, who got verified on Tuesday confirms that, tolerance plays a lot in the exercise, “In the beginning,it wasn’t fully introduced to the people to understand, but now the registration is going on well and everybody is informed on any changes, and we hope everybody who comes will attend,” said Adriko.
However, though the exercise is already moving well, there are still some underlining factors,
Mark Ondia shared his experience on the exercise, “The situation here is rather difficult, there are too many people, the man power for work is not enough,so I would suggest more people are given to work on these people,” Ondia requested.
The nationwide exercise has attracted a massive turn up in Arua city so far.
