The bishop of Arua Catholic diocese Rt. Rev Sabino Ocan Odoki has transferred and reshuffled some priests serving in the diocese to new parishes and positions on Wednesday March 27, 2024 during the chrism mass.

In his wisdom, the bishop appointed Rev Fr. Denis Dranika the curate of Laropi parish as the new parish priest of Laropi parish, Rev. Fr. James Angualia the chaplain of Arua Regional Referral hospital and Arua comprehensive school of nursing and midwifery was reappointed the curate of Ociba Catholic sub parish.

The bishop also reappointed Fr. Alex Guma the chaplain of St. Mary's Ediofe girls secondary school, curate Ediofe parish and diocesan accountant and the in charge of Bishop Angelo Tarantino house.

Rev. Fr. Ceasor Atibuni the parish priest of Kaya parish has been transferred as a curate to Odravu parish and replaced by Rev.Fr. Denis Roy Pariyo the parish priest of Laropi parish as curate Kaya parish.

The bishop also appointed Rev Fr. James Ciriba Ayoma as the parish priest for Kaya parish. He also appointed Rev Fr. Celestine Onzima who has been a serving teacher in government now retired as the curate of Logiri parish in charge of Ezoo zone. Bishop Odoki however tasked Fr. Celestine to prepare Ezoo zone into a parish.

The Bishop finally blessed the new appointees and said all the above appointments take effect immediately.
